Family Wraparound Services
Family Wraparound Services supports the well-being of youth, families, and vulnerable adults in our community. We accept referrals from local community members and law enforcement agencies. Family Service Advocates (FSAs) work closely with individuals and families to identify and address systemic barriers to accessing resources such as food, housing, mental health services, and financial support. In addition to direct assistance, FSAs educate the community on topics like pool safety, sleep safety, and responsible firearm storage. Their holistic approach ensures families have the necessary resources to thrive and achieve a stable, healthy lifestyle.
Decisions
The Decisions class is an interactive discussion with youth about how their decisions can impact their lives and those around them. They will hear real-life stories from youth whose lives have been changed by repeated negative decisions. Additionally, youths will receive information about certain law violations and the penalties that may accompany them. The end goal of this class is to encourage the youth to be intentional about making positive decisions, which can open the door to building and maintaining healthy relationships, staying on the path of making positive choices in life, and ultimately becoming upstanding citizens within their community.
Law Awareness
Law Awareness is a 90-minute class in which the facilitators discuss juvenile law, the varying criminal classifications, and the penalties they carry. The youth will walk through different scenarios of crimes that are commonly committed by juveniles. The goal is to make the youth aware of the legal consequences of crimes that they may believe are minor.
